Yes, TAC airlifter for the "older"guys and then it went to MAC, and then for a while ACC (at least for the C-130's, the real work horse!) before returning to MAC, or Military Airlift Command, which was changed yet once again, to Air Mobility Command, or AMC. Whew!
Thank you Kinghunter for your very kind words. Our great military is once again stepping up to the challenges presented in Haiti. Oh, the memories! Pardon me while I take a walk down memory lane!

Herky,
My cousin is a retired E-8 from AF Combat Camera, my bro in law is a Army E-4 truck driver about to come home from Kuwait, and my good friend is about to deploy whom is in the army. It is a pity for those who do not show a descent amount of respect. I like talking to military vets for their stories are interesting and full of humor. Plus you learn a lot.

Herky, didn't you fly with the wright brothers too?

You have to remember this is not a JCT Forum, This is a open public forum that is available free to all. Theres no reason to expect someone to read 400 pages of Hi how are you to get a answer to a question.
-
Well, made it thru day 3 of JCT orientation. Had some more interviews. Watched some more videos. Picked trucks. Signed more papers. I'm anxious and nervous at the same time..... if that is possible. I think we get to meet Mr. Christner tomorrow. Get equipment and trucks sometime tomorrow and wait for load assignment. When DM asked I said I was ready to roll. So my fellow JCT'ers..... make a hole out there for me! I've been out of a truck and off the road for 5 days now so I have an itch lol Looking forward to meeting and running with some of yall out there. So save a mile or two for me lol Btw, I got a Freightliner Classic XL
ampm wayne and dabs Thank this. -
well while I agree, not only because I said it, but that being said.....
The option is there for anyone to call recruiting and if we want to tell someone that the question being asked has been asked and answered in the past and ask them to look back that is our option.
Stop with the "we have the right to ask" stuff. If you want to make a move as big as running your own business, take some time to research and look for your answers. No one is going to do your job when you get out here.
You will find by taking time to read the thread that you will get to know most of us as if we have been life long friends, and will also find that most of will even meet up with you and buy you a cup of coffee.
Most of us have come to use this as the way to meet up with each other so if the "400 pages of Hi" don't have the answer to your questions than feel free to ask away, but if we have already gone into detail about that subject than expect to look it up....herkyboy, BigCountryChef, dabs and 3 others Thank this. -
