I'm sitting here with my coffee cup halfway to my mouth. Dude, what are you doing in my head stealing my memories? Right down to the ex bit. Only it was a Cougar.
Exact. Same. Thing. happened to me '97-'98-ish, stopped at the bottom of the hill on my way to work 0-dark-thirty.
I thought at first it was a little girl in distress. Talked to my BIL later (super hunter) "I hope you weren't wandering around in the woods in the dark, that was a cat" -
Funny this came up— about the same time period, I was up in the Salmon River Breaks in hot pursuit of a mondo buck— started my advance at 0300 and had to do my pre-dawn crap — just got situated when the banshee scream came— I knew what it was, but sucked what was about to come out back in and was bound up for a couple days after — their scream is totally unnatural

Cougar, Mountain Lion, from my understanding, pretty much the same thing. Only difference really is locale, and since they're "extinct" here, even less meaning. People get downright stupid defending the "experts" that say they're extinct here, and in other states where people claim to see them. Like c'mon, they have legs, are fast, and already have a huge range, you don't think it's possible for one to show up here when they ARE acknowledged a few hundred miles away? Let alone how many captive escapes there are that go unreported.cke, Brettj3876, Feedman and 6 others Thank this.

As far as eating at a restaurant goes in a Truckstop. I always tip minimum $5, and tipped more during the worst of the covid shutdown….

Thoughts on tipping fast-food workers?
cke, Brettj3876, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -
That's insane. Those #### things breed like rabbits, and destroy everything in their path. I guess when they start taking over St Louis that will change.cke, Brettj3876, CAXPT and 7 others Thank this.

Same goes for wolves. People swear up and down about their location. They have a huge range. Like Colorado. I've seen them there, but the DOW says they aren't there and you aren't allowed to shoot then. Well, how do you shoot what isn't there? Because they are there and they know it.cke, Brettj3876, Nostalgic and 5 others Thank this.

Well, we now know why you have so many problems with your truck. Karma's a ##### ain't it.

I don't do that either. However, I tend not to frequent those places.cke Thanks this.
