    If their state decriminalized it, my first thought would be that they should be allowed to. But how do they know it was off duty? No way to test that

    I prefer that cops making life death decisions are not on drugs, just like I prefer truck drivers not on drugs. NJ is making a mistake on this.

    I’ve heard stories that once upon a time there were no drug tests in the industry…..

    I don't see any difference between smoking weed off duty or consuming alcohol off duty. I'll bet 1 thing...the cops that smoke won't be in the news for police brutality.
