I ve worked for several companies that have auto's overall I like them, Kind of really depends on how they are programed. Drive it ask for the service records. I prefer a manual trans but it would just depend on the test drive

Are you having trouble going down hill ? Their is a special downhill mode that work really nice. It's normal for the transmission to bring up the RPMs. Basically stage 1 and 2 run 1,200-1,700 all the time. Stage 3 is 1,700-2,200 all the time. You don't use them like old one on and off all the time. Just the big hills when you really need them. Some guy like run the engine brakes in citt traffic or every stop light. I'm still enjoying my DT-12 it's a great transmission and the special downhill mode is pretty impressive. It can hold truck back at like 8% grade at the speed you set it for down to 30MPH. You set the speed the the computers will do the rest of the work.
