Finally spoke with someone at the court house/the court clerk I believe it was, and she said no points, its just a fine. Im trying to verify that with the Secretary of State. Secretary of State had never seen a ticket written up this way. So ill pay the extra $250 to fight it and to be certain no points

Went to court this morning, Not even my lawyer could verify what the clerk of court said as far as not receiving points(Since I couldnt verify that info I just went ahead and hired a lawyer)....It was reducing to Impeding Traffic..same $235 fine..Cost of the lawyer was $250

Being that the ticket is not considered a moving violation, it should NOT show on your record or give you any points. I had this happen to me in New Jersey, I was able to get the ticket dismissed. You can fight it too, being that you didn't know and aren't a local the Judge should dismiss it.

Been too long, so I don't remember for sure, but I don't think so. I think it was just a posted local road.

There was a no trucks sign, I just didnt see it because of a box truck at the light in front of me blocking it. When light turned green he turned right, and I went straight, officer was waiting to turn left across from me, I seen the sign and him almost simultaneously, I immediately stopped and put my flashers on knowing he was gonna u-turn....No trucks allowed on that section of whatever road it was...I think it was Hall and Van Horn RD
