    I’m in class right now. It started great for me today then things hit the fan when he started spazzing out after I made a mistake. I don’t know. Other student had issues with floating also.

    Found out this school may not be following the proper guidelines. Making exit plans. This is crazy. I knew something day 1. Should have followed instincts.

    Yes. Confirmed with a state examiner during our lunch break. Waited for instructor to return and asked him to verify that they don’t test for it. Again he claimed that they don’t test for it. I asked him why isn’t he teaching the ELDT theory course and he said me having a permit already was the theory. I immediately went to college office (he’s a contractor with them). It’s a new program.

    In trucking every maneuver and every component has 5 different names. Every instructor has his preferred technique and all other techniques are "OK, I guess, if you don't mind being one of THOSE drivers." You may be yelled at for doing what the last instructor told you, or for not doing that technique the way you were shown. Usually the current instructor may not make it clear. Think of trying to train a dog from the shelter, except every 40 minutes a new trainer shows up and they speak a different language than any other trainer.

    I get that out in the real world not everyone can be on the same page with terminology or techniques. In a school environment thought its not hard for the instructors to get together and agree to teach a standard way. Makes it easier for everyone, especially the students.
