@Chinatown Thank you! Out of all those provided which one is the longest time out with the trainer and least time, do you know?

Shortest training period is with Schneider. About 11 days. Give the recruiter a call.

Schneider works with private cdl schools and also has their own school in Indiana.

Charlotte - Schneider - $2,300 x months contract. Daily pay, lunch provided; but if you live within 50 miles of training terminal you must commute. Also, you will need a set address for x time. What ever you do don't mess with Knight.

Do you know the pay for a new driver? Fresh out of the program.

What's up with Knight? I was considering them as well, but love to here your insights.

Honestly none of those companies will pay you well fresh out. Go on YouTube and look up pay videos. As rookies we’ll see 30 something cents, unless you live in a good area for local or dedicated routes. I hear Florida is garbage for loads but I don’t know. Anyway can’t have it both ways. Can’t afford to pay. Get the Cdl, get experience, move on. It’s only temporary.

Florida is a great location for trucking. The people complaining are usually owner operators, not company drivers.
I was never stuck in Florida for loads in or out of the state. The reason is, I pulled reefers.

Schneider - pay depends on the account you pick. Go on their job postings for drivers. Put in your zip code and see what sounds appealing. As far as Knight, unless you like being treated like crap and looking to get fired for much of nothing. They could care less about the driver. Stay away.
