You could do the arrow, or sideways peace sign both ways .
What ever way the arrow pointing, that's which side of the road the problem was on. Cops, wrecks, school bus, mailman on 2 lane roads

201, Oxbow and bumper Jack Thank this.

I run mostly rural 2 lane highways. Many trucks and also the 4 wheelers around here with turn their headlights on and off, or off and on at night, real quick two times if there is a cop in my future. Oddly enough, the 4 wheeler do this way more than the trucks anymore and they have saved me some grief many times.

Feedman, Brettj3876, 201 and 4 others Thank this.

It would also help us to know the dummy’s to avoid. See a car or truck coming covered in paint balls and you know to avoid them. It truly is a flawless plan.

Yes that is true most can easily judge when they are clear however its always good to say thanks anyway, where one really appreciates it is in the case of a much longer train of vehicles someone with doubles or triples can do with the help, when we run on the highway with super quads which is a combination of 60 m or around 190 ft one does appreciate it when we get signaled that we are clear to merge back in, that is on the very occasion we actually get to pass, on most occasions we are going to slow and its the opposite with most vehicles passing us as a super quad is restricted to only 90 km per hour or 55 mph.

Oxbow and bumper Jack Thank this.

A cap on the dash indicated a "Fuzzbuster" was in use,,,wasn't there one that would pay your ticket,,once? Like I say, being a local driver, and the CB radio, we knew where all the cops were anyway.

When I’m 12 foot wide or wider I can’t see anything but load. It’s nice if I can get a flash. Also please pull extra far in front of me. If you come over too close I can’t see any hazards coming up on the shoulder.

Feedman, Numb, Brettj3876 and 3 others Thank this.

Too bad that doesn’t stop the idiots from putting something on in their place that you can see from the moon.

I try to allow a lot more room than I used to now before I come back over because of this stupid adaptive cruise control that so many trucks have anymore.
