Anybody know how this DC is to run out of? I’ve been exploring leaving my current job and unsurprisingly, the offers are pouring in. I considered applying at Walmart years ago but, Gas City was the only one that had openings and I just didn’t want have to drive that far twice a week. Seymour is right down the road so I’m really considering it this time.

Out of all my offers, Walmart is my current first choice so any info is appreciated.

Easier said than done, I've always heard quality of life can be very DC dependent at Walmart. Seymour is the onboarding DC for the region and they have a sign on bonus at the moment, also a GM DC I believe and that's all I know. Walmart sounds attractive but, it needs to live up to its reputation to draw me away from USPS.

Nope, didn't "Check" the correct boxes on application.

If you have a good worth ethic and demeanor you'll do fine here. Depends on what you're looking for.

Well if you're talking about the correct boxes i think you're talking about, it makes for a very crappy place to work with a terrible culture. A small pension and good health benefits doesn't make up for all the other cons. I miss professionalism and a place that at least acts like they care about their drivers. Money is also an important factor.

Ya exactly, not all but vast majority of Government workers are unmotivated, unpleasant, un efficient, no pride in job, and would get fired from just about any other private sector job.
