The state schools where I live are $1,600 and it’s a 300 hour class over 12 weeks
a very good class , for almost free .

All, thank you for all the info! I got my permit on 2/4/22 before the training law went into effect on 2/7
I’m in so cal and everything here is booked up for months and expensive. Anybody have some tips on where I can go to log a couple days and take a test in the same truck? Third party testing facility? Anybody heard of the CA DMV DL170 form and can explain how that deal works?
