Commercial Drivers License - No Test

    I saw this on Facebook: when I asked about it this was their response:

    "Actually sir this is not a school this is back door process of obtaining your CDL. The CDL is processed directly from the main data base of the DMV and the NATIONAL DATABASE OF Commercial Driver's License Information System (CDLIS) OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION and
    Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Your CDL comes out authentic, registered and valid to be used all round the United States Are you interested?"

    Anyone familiar with this?

    I wouldn't touch that. Definitely a scam and if something happens in the future or you get stopped and they dig a little you'll be in deep crap. It's not worth the risk.

    I trained a couple students who got their CDLs through "private" lessons. They told me they had trouble finding a job because they were not trained through an accredited school. They got hired by the company I was working for and had to go through our primary training even though they had their CDL already. Do yourself a favor. Go to an accredited CDL school that has a good reputation. Or a company that will train you with the same reputation. You won't regret it.

    Under the new rules, potential drivers have no choice but to attend a cdl school that's on the FMCSA Registry. No more learning on the farm or with a buddy that owns a truck.
