So here’s the thing. Shop did valve adjustment/ transmission valve replacement and marker id light. They drained the batteries by not turning off the lights over night. I picked up the truck they had to jump it to get it running. I get the truck back the only gauges working are voltage/ air pressure/ fuel/ suspension load/ and pyro temp. When you open the door the mileage pops up but when you start the truck it looks like this - - - - - - -. I checked all fuses and everything. I removed the blower motor the relay and the hvac control (because the knob was broke) and each item i removed made the gauges start working one by one. The next day i get in the truck and everything is still working but it’s going in and out (all hvac items unplugged) so i figured it couldn’t be related. I bought new blowe new relay new hvac Knob hooked it all up and now everything went back dead. Ps my eld is flicking as well. So I’m assuming it’s an engine wire issue. But what could have they messed up in those areas. It seems like everything that isn’t working is receiving info directly from motor (speed rpm oil pressure turbo mileage etc)

I’d clean and inspect all grounds, maybe add a 6-8ga ground to the cab.
@Goodysnap may have some better advice.

I just had this self inflicted issue.

First, there is a 10 amp fuse, second one from the rear on the second row. It was blowing when the key was turned on and the truck went through it's pre-start tests.

The issue was a pinched wire behind the instrument panel. When I put the top center panel back on, I'd caught a wire on the top row. Since the panels are aluminum, it was shorting when the truck tried to cycle the instrument lights. Pull both instrument/gauge panels off and away from the dash and see if the problem quits.

Maybe corrosion at the ecm connections. ?Working on it and jump starting finally forced a compromised connection through the corrosion. ?
When you open the door and the odo shows up, does it update with new miles after some driving?

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have the same exact issue and haven’t been able to figure it out.
