Enjoying a bit of free time waiting for my new tarps to be built. Should be done tomorrow.

 

New Mexico or West Texas? Big fire (s) in West Texas smoke laying out to southern Colorado. Too early for that, but all it takes is a lightening strike or a careless cigarette butt flipped out.

Yeah, I try to eat healthy most of the time. Last night though.....

Stanton, TN weigh stations are on the warpath today so if you are I-40 EB or WB make sure that you are legit because they are running trucks and drivers through the ringer.

The eastbound scale was not bypassing a single truck. The line was 15+ trucks deep.

Bypass was on going westbound.

I sat on the scale for 5 minutes while he glared at me and checked out my numbers.

Be safe and legal because they are in the medians, at exits and all over the place today.

 

It is a potato dish I make for Sunday brunch. A mandolin is useful in making this dish. I also use onions in it even though most recipes don't call for them. And butter only no olive oil. If you want the recipe let me know. It is really good and disappears if you have a group of potato lovers.
