I've recently installed a new tu-flo 550 air compressor. I also installed a new governor. I've tried to adjust that as well in to restrict air and out but still no change the compressor continues to want to climb past 130psi but I turn either the truck off or dump the air. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED AS IM OUT OF WORK UNTIL ITS REPAIRED
Why does my 2014 international continue to build air pressure

Tried the old/different gvrnr? New does not automatically mean properly working. QC may give a glitch here and there.

I’ve had governors on new AD- series dryers go as high as 140 before they unload. Most unload at 130-135psi. As long as it’s cutting back in at a reasonable pressure I wouldn’t worry about it. If it doesn’t unload, or cut in when you fan it down you probably got a bad governor.

Double check for any plugs that may have been (or needed to be) transferred to new part.
goga Thanks this. -
You did put a gasket between the compressor and governor?
You did not put a plug in the hole where the governor bolts to the compressor? -
Or plug in governor exhaust port. What type of air dryer?
