I have a simple solution for putting "the fear of God" in a crowd that is out of control. Those who want to participate in a violent demonstration better be prepared to suffer the consequences. I have never understood why the police allow this type of behavior to continue. A few dead bodies, the rest is history. .

 

I wonder if Lootie came out of retirement.

It's only so much the police can do...they are going to be severely outnumbered every time. Law enforcement has to use some sense when dealing with these folks. I don't like to see it either. That driver was only working. I can't understand why folks don't use their time more peacefully.

 

I wonder how many truck drivers are attacked by crowds while traveling at speeds of 60 MPH and above?

 

Article doesn't say if he drove to the crowd and then tried to go thru or if he stopped way back and the crowd came to him.

Pop the brakes a block away and find a different route if the crowd is not swarming.

 

The police are not required to protect anyone. Police know their city will sacrifice them to protect the politicians. Your security is most important to you and nobody else. Act accordingly.
