Best state to start own authority!

Just to clarify, you’ve only been driving for three months and you want to jump right into your own authority? I’m not going to preach I’m just clarifying. Is this the case? Or am I completely misunderstanding. Which is very possible.

Have no idea on what state is the cheapest but it will be the insurance that cost the most. Might check on that information first.

 

Amen on that! I sold my business and #’s years ago. Now I’m a idiot and starting over again. I’m trying to find the “cheapest insurance” lol. My goodness, I’m so sick and tired of all of the calls, emails, texts, etc…

 

Call an insurance broker, tell them your deal, and ask them what state will be the cheapest. Do that a couple times and you should have a good idea. I sincerely doubt it’s FL.

 

Good luck to you ! Chase the American dream. as for which state idk. If I had the opportunity to start over I would pick a state that has the best availability of the freight I wanna run and start my authority there.
