On pin 8 I get 2.4 and on 28 I get 2.6 and ohms from 8&28 I get 58 ohms. So you think I should order a tcm? Where is the best place?
    Thanks again @Heavyd

I think you need a TCU. The best place is a fully authorized Allison dealer. Many truck shops can order the TCU and sell you parts, but they cannot program them. So who ever they order from need to be able to program them.

@Heavyd I bought a new tcm from allison,I gave them the CIN and it came programmed. I installed it and it solved the problem. I can't thank you enough. The guy at allison claim that tcm's fail often. Mine was was the original so maybe this new one will last 10 years and the truck will be worn out by then. Lol , Thanks again for all your help.

    Heavyd Thanks this.

You are welcome! Great to hear! Glad to help! I actually cut open one of old ones. Inside there is a very fine wire between each connector pin to the PC board. The wires were not protected and were thinner than a human hair and very fragile. Hard to believe they last as long as they do. As you see, the newer ones are more robust on the outside, so hopefully they are better internally too.

    Bushwacker1241 and spsauerland Thank this.
