Something that has always grinded my gears is when I tell the broker I will be at delivery between 4pm-5pm... then he goes and tells customer I will be there at 1pm... then when I call the customer and tell them I'll be there at 4:30 . I'm the bad guy.. Good for nothing brokers I tell ya.

 

That screws you out of detention then. The customer expected you at x but you didn't show until x. You were late according to the customer. If there was a detention issue you lost out unless you have some proof of what you told the broker.

 

Email the broker with eta. Then when he lies show the shipper where it's in email to the broker. Then call and cuss his ### out and black list him. Or don't and black list him

 

I tend to agree. Seems like very few people, men and women alike, are willing to overlook the small flaws that we all have. They want that "Disney Ending" and won't settle for anything less than that perfection. Its a lie the population has been sold. We live in a throwaway society and that includes relationships. If it doesn't suit one of the partners 100% its over.

Social media is the absolute worst. On the plus side you can see if they're marriage material by just flipping through their tiktok or instagram. No dating/courtship required.

Maybe I'm just a 60 year old dude trapped in the body of a guy in his 30s?

check with them on the delivery site info - directions and crap.

it is expected by your customers now - nobody gets fined for calling ahead. Also, if you can’t see the way and out (especially true since you have mechanical neck) walk the in and look it over.

Got a much needed bath yesterday at the beacon. I finally pulled the trigger and got the whole Zephyr wheel polishing kit. They don't look half bad for not being hit all winter. Was gonna give big red a bath too but the hose blew on the pressure washer Lol
