Understandable. I hate making mistakes, and I used to really give myself the works when I screwed up. Nothing anyone else could say that was worse than the internal dialogue. Used to get me in trouble at places I worked at. If someone decided to get on their high horse and start lecturing me I'd tell em to shut the f up, because I'd already self corrected.

Sorry that happened.

 

Foam insulation and painted tin walls. Sheetrock or any product like it will be filthy in no time, suck up lighting and be impossible to clean easily, even painted.

 

I didn't like this stupid lean to on the back of the house. Not only was it an obstacle, it wasn't built very well and I am happy to make it disappear.

 

Revenue grab, plain and simple.

 

I guess if there is a next time, a quick call to Sheriff/Police might save some aggravation. But I'm sure the LEO could've had your number within a few minutes to see what was up as well. You'll probably find out tow company owner is cousins with the LEO, lol.

That DMV thing is strange. I've never known DMV to get caught up in a local impoundment like that. Is it possible that your trailer registration hasn't come through yet or that they're unable to get a copy? I've had a trailer get impounded for lack of registration but they just made me park it at the scales until the state got their act together.
