Miss Wilkes is the best lunch, I dont eat for a day before going. I always say im not going to just eat fried chicken and mac n cheese, I'm going to try some of the other southern dishes, but I cant help myself,.... its sooo good.

 

Yeah, them squatches get pretty sneaky when they go to ruttin’.

This is why you should be keeping several meat snack sticks with you.

 

0500 and she tells me to go get clean sheets so I can make the bed while she is in the shower. "I don't think you are suppose to be up, are you?" -The look.- "All right, let me got the shower set up and see if you can get there without falling out." I make the bed, add a blanket, while the -nurse- keeps an eye on Mom. Showered, back in bed, she looks at me and says there is a Starbucks downstairs and they have coffee and oatmeal, "go and do some recon Marine." "Yes ma'am!" Guess we shot that jello in the arse. The shower took some out of her, but the coffee and espresso seemed to help.
