    The truck runs and drives great but my only concern is there are some black stain on exhaust guy says it's been sitting for 5 months and rain and stuff caused it to stain what do you guys think? I asked if it was oil coming out IMG-20220507-WA0007.jpg IMG-20220507-WA0006.jpg

    Also what is the idea cold idle oil pressure and hot idle and running oil pressure for th4 14l detroits

    Take it to the nearest Dino. Get a complete print out of the ECM report and then see if it's worth buying, it's the best money to spend before buying any truck, even if you have to drive a ways to get it to a Detroit motor shop that has one, if they won't let you get it to the Dino walk away,

    The 14.0L detroit is a great engine if it didn't come with the garbage egr system. Expect to have regular problems with the vpod, egr, turbo actuator and vpod harness. The excessive soot from the problems I mentioned is what caused the black streaks on the exhaust stack. The owner is probably hiding a crappy running engine. Expect it to lose power between 1100 and 1300 rpm especially in colder weather.
