Unknown. Not home a whole lot. The back is bare. Front is too. They prefer some nice rocks to coil under or a heavy bush.
They prefer to ambushwack rather than hunt.77fib77, Dadetrucking305, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this. -
Just a way of life down here in southern az. I park about 30 miles from mexico border at my uncles place . Snakes are good to have around to get rid of the rats that go around and eat wiring on the cars.. My uncle swears by putting bright lights underneath because the rats dont like daylight.. It works.. There was a lady visiting with her family that lived down the street.. They chewed all the wiring to the ecm. Chewed thru all the wire loom and everything surrounding the wires. ... That is a big job to replace. That happened to my aunt also a couple years ago. Supposedly the wiring insualtion is made from soy bean oil. And they like the taste. They wont touch rubber air lines or plastic. Or fuel lines...the snakes take care of them. Although, rattle snakes we kill them because they do nothing but cause problems and go after the dogs and other animals. Havent had 1 yet this year. But seen a couple bull snakes already, those are the ones you want.larry2903, 77fib77, Dadetrucking305 and 4 others Thank this.

Baby rattler got Orange Cat ( R.I.P. )
He loved to pick up snakes. Knew that would turn out badly. -
If I lived in rattlesnake county I'd always have the 410 pistol with me Lol hate them ####ers

I've got 7 acres, but it's not flat and the area where I decided to park my truck/trailer has proven to be a bit less than ideal. Getting it more usable and as truck friendly as I can has been quite the adventure.

House I rent is off a quieter state highway in NC I back into my driveway off the road. Sucks at times, I just put my 4 ways on wait for traffic to go by and do my thing, most people that use the road know me now and know the truck some often give me space and patience for me to back in which is nice, some are impatient. I had my buddy widen the opening with some gravel for me, I can usually back in 1 shot. Sometimes I need to do a pull up. I will say this there is nothing like having your rig outside your back door.

Thanks all for the responses so far.
This is a potential spot that looks easier than most so far, worst case, i make the turn, then back into the drive for now.
3ish acres less than 4 minutes from interstate directly on state road
Tug Toy Thanks this. -
