I'm the same way! Drives me nuts Might be on my own here in a few more weeks which is kind of funny in a sense because he said he wouldn't let me go on my own until I get more backing practice which hasn't happened almost at all. But I mean I guess I'll figure it out on my own. Not being taught much anyway, so I would do better by myself. Might be the person that makes everyone angry taking 40 minutes to back at a truck stop, but it's better than hitting someone else's tractor and/or trailer though

 

Just take your time. Next time your “trainer” says we have plenty of time. Tell them “great! That means we got plenty of time to practice backing”!

 

Okay I know this isn't supposed to go here, so if it needs to be moved....then please feel free BUT I just have one simple question. Tonight, my trainer has his screen on full bright while driving. If an officer or DOT pulls him over, can I get in trouble for being in the truck while he is watching his TV shows? What if they ask me for my license? Am I required to give it to them since I'm in the truck but not the one behind the wheel? Just curious and you know kinda paranoid about having anything on my record....

 

I have before. Doesn't change anything. Even when backing up to docks, unfortunately. Not trying to be Debbie downer here. Like here's the problem and here's the solution...nope that won't work Not trying to be all pessimistic.. I've asked before though.

Evening update.
The new antibiotic made me ill just like the penicillin does, so the hunt for an antibiotic continues.
I had 3 bites of mashed potatoes before they were returned, that didn't work.
4 dips into the ice bath and still can't get my temp to drop. That did not work either.
I guess we will take a run at it tomorrow. Good Night.

 

No, you won't be in trouble if he is operating and watching TV. Yes, as a Commerical Driver they can ask for your credentials.

 

Mine is an 07 too. Call it my Geezer Glide lol. 07 last year of cable operated throttle if memory serves me…

 

Okay, thank you. Just wanted to make sure. I don't care if they want them as long as they can't pin me for things he's doing when I'm not behind the wheel simply because I hold a CDL as well.
