One of my friends has a '96 Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Nice bike....those back seats are super comfy too for long rides. I went with a friend to Pocatello last year (everyone was riding bikes behind the semi of my boyfriend who was killed in a motorcycle accident) and I wanted to be on a bike too but barely started learning like 2 months prior, so it was best for me to tag along with another biker and omg....he had one of them what I like to call "kidney buster" seats that are like sitting on wood. Oh boy was that the most painful ride ever. :biggrin_2552::biggrin_25513:

1st factory built bike I’ve ever owned, always built my scooters. It’s a nice ride with the air ride on the rear. I’m not much on the cruise control though. Do like to slide a CD in sometimes and listen to some good tunes, like Bluegrass, classic country, or old southern rock….

I’m not sure about most but the only way I learn is from doing. In my younger years I’ve had many a boss tell me I was hard headed. That maybe the case, I’m certainly not arguing that point, someone can tell me until their blue in the face but unless I’m hands on it ain’t gonna stick. Good luck and just take your time!

Got any recommendations for some of those tunes? Bands, solos, etc?

I love classic rock, old country, older stuff I don't know what it's classified as (lol), etc. See if you have anything good I haven't heard.

Here are some I like as examples....Tennessee Ernie Ford, Jimmy Dean, The Highwaymen, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Aaron Watson, Whiskey Myers, George Strait, Alabama, Tony Justice, Bill Weaver, Conway Twitty, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Heart, Styx, Ozzy, etc etc :)

Appreciate it much! Yeah I'm the same exact way. Even in CDL school I didn't understand much of anything until I was actually doing it or seeing it and touching it (mechanical all the pre-trip stuff etc). Why I decided to never go to a full blown college. I don't learn from lectures, lessons, and books very well. I've been told a million times and ten fold that I'm hard headed. I know I am too sometimes to a fault though lol

Here is something that you may want to try. A good quality ginger ale/beer, likes Reed’s. Sip it slowly at first. A little goes a long way. I think you will find it will help you feel better and soothing to your stomach.
