We don't like those companies any more than you guys. Makes us all look bad. Working on legislation to put them out of business. Especially the ones that have a separate LLC for each truck in the fleet to get multiple spots on police rotation... Don't let police/highway patrol call for a tow, you will probably get screwed.

But you guys are 100% honest every time, right? Never had a bill disputed? Never been to court after being sued by somebody you towed?

Devils advocate for him on this, if youve NEVER had an angry call from a customer complaining about a high cost, youre probably undercharging a little, maybe a lot.

The company I am with, as well as myself, are right beside ya on that mister!

Hell, I was at a tow forum a few years ago wherein most of the forum was how to's on how to bilk the insurance and the customer for every penny possible. I promptly canceled that account.

There is one of those companies in my region, we're just waiting for that pedastal to fall.

I also wish there was some iota of regulation in this state, Arizona, to stop steering wheel holders from running wrecker, jeezuz man, sometimes the towman has to use his rig to lift, with explicit finesse, a vehicle off a human ...... anyone can do THAT right!!

    Just ..... ugh.

In Tennessee, on the weekends, tow trucks from surrounding states invade because of easy money. They use spotters and sometimes put canvas bags over "No Parking" spots. The spotters call in and the tow truck shows up and removes the canvas bag, then takes a photo of the car and "No Parking" sign.
