    Well that's a problem.....

    As you can see part of the connector on the ecm is broken, allowing moisture in there causing corrosion on the pins. Cleaned em up and low and behold the temperature sensor is working again.

    No more check engine lights, now to get back to making money next week.

    And yes I need to dust the dash off

    i may have to do the same. im getting ghost codes for awhile now.. u just use a wire brush or something to clean the plug?

    Blasted it with brake cleaner a couple times. Let it dry and it looked clean. Rinsed it down with wd and put it back together. Didn't have any silicone on hand but will seal it up proper in a week or so. I considered just gobbin some dielectric grease in there to make it impossible for moisture to get in but mechanic feller said it would be fine just to silicone around the area.

    I'd put dielectric grease on it if any of it was corroded.
