Cloud Trucks

I like to follow the money trails.
Once out of the north east I try to stay out as long as possible.
I try to stick to the Midwest, south east and south west. I avoid Florida and California

 

i used to avoid Florida but sometimes it does pay and I never avoid California. Just saw a posted rate of 8k for Los Angeles to Portland

 

If it was a round trip avoid that broker they don’t pay

 

Looking to make the switch to Cloud ending of next month. I started the hireright process I heard it can take 1-2wks for the background check to come back so wanted to get that out of the way ASAP.

 

It was a straight run one way.

 

Picked up a Massillon OH to Gordonsville VA for 5.23

spent most of yesterday at a shop. Gamble paid off going with an independent. Zeroed right in on the problem and was surprised kw couldn’t figure it out since it is a known issue.
Will definitely be looking to take the tractor to Fox Truck and Tractor if I need repairs in the canton area.

 

GraniteState, are you running under CloudTrucks's authority then? I've been trying to figure out how much it'd be worth running my own authority or going with a carrier like this under theirs. Also, you still running power only or did you grab a trailer?

Mays been pretty good so far.
Got 1.79 out of Cheyenne since then I’ve done 3.41, 5.23 and 3.69

 

Cloud loads I'm assuming?

Also, has Cloud trucks dropped the ball very often on any loads you've done from DAT?
