Not quite correct, Holden stopped production on 20 October 2017, Holden ceased manufacturing vehicles in Australia with the closure of the Elizabeth plant
The Holden brand ceased in 2020

I mostly defer to OLDSKOOLERnWV's response. I just disagree with the analogy you present. You're presenting a "suggested" unknowledgable person in the weight lifting aspect, to a multi-year driver who did this as a L/O, and chose to go full O/O, who has years of experience in the industry even if he's a little new to this part of the industry. Following his plan, he will learn whether he made a bad decision about tracking on his own. He's not permanently damaged, as he can if he decides, to change course, or stay the course and choose not to take work under these conditions. The weight lifter, if he is totally ignorant (and I don't know anyone that even casually lifts weights being that ignorant to proper balancing of routine), then after you mention it and have explained what you see as a problem, because you care, it is up to him how to proceed...and you've tried, vainly perhaps, to impart wisdom. This driver is aware of the possible pitfalls and he has thanked all you drivers that have shown him concern about his practices, and has stated he does not intend to change them.
I don't see his response as being arrogant or dismissive of your advice, I just see his decision as his own. The nice thing about being your own boss, is you can change that if you so desire. It's not like you chose not to secure a load or stay out from under a load being unloaded, something that may have some permanence, this is a knowledgable choice on his part. Consider his point, that maybe the industry (O/O's) should set the bar, instead of being subjected to it. He has a valid point of view on it, and feels if the masses agree and start letting that frieght sit, maybe they'll reconsider their demands. Everyone is right in this dogfight, but it's each and every driver's right to make those choices. I made mine as a company driver knowing it could get me fired...cie la vie. I may be the bottom rung of the ladder, but I am most definitely not a doormat, either.

Yes that’s a solid looking Louisville…!!jamespmack, CAXPT, MOBee and 4 others Thank this. -
Driver said it quit pulling, it would only go 5mph and no more. The shop at the TA said it’s throwing codes about the def, dpf, or something like that (his words).
The local Pete shop said it was a week or better before they could look at, and the KW dealer wouldn’t call back, all what he told me.
I will drag it back to Hurricane, WV at dealer. It was bought there from my friend I shuttle trucks for when I have time….jamespmack, CAXPT, Feedman and 9 others Thank this. -
The lifter had a good program, and because of this was showing good gains. Definitely not lacking knowledge. If I warn him, will it be perceived by him that I am suggesting that he lacks knowledge? You response signifies yes. Should I warn him? Your response signifies that I should if I care. Do I care? Big Ronnie’s response signifies that I don’t care to debate about how someone else does something compared to how I do it.
So, if I see a lifter that’s making good gains in the gym, but as he progresses, he’s going to blow his shoulders out, should I warn him? Not unless I want to get into a dogfight, right? Well, that’s why I was questioning whether I should warn him or not. No matter what, he’s going to blow his shoulders out. The only thing that changes is whether or not I become involved in a dogfight. Sounds like fun and all, but this old dog is tired. -
Is the young lifter going to blow his shoulder out and then go singing from the mountain tops about how weightlifting destroyed his body? And if he does what do you say at that point?
