It Just Gets Better and Better

Not your wife, I'm talking MDs in general I thought you said your wife got an opinion from an MD I didn't read that she was the MD.....too many times its hard to determine what people on here are really saying....I wasn't insulting your wife

 

I commented to my wife about breast milk, cows milk, etc. She pointed out, that some babies have allergies, that require formula only diets. 30 yrs ago, a push towards breast milk was popular. She did it for a while, used the breast pump. Lol. A couple weeks of that, and working 50 hrs. a week. Nope! Where’s the formula? Lol.

 

Believe what you want I don't really care its not affecting me in anyway if you take offense....maybe then don't put up your wife as your source for your opinions......fact is things are screwed up and little arguments like this aren't helpful....

 

A mother who is drinking and or drugging of course is not going to have good food for her child. The child will be lucky to be fed anything. I am talking about the average mother who can breast feed will have the the complete food for her child . And as always there will be exceptions. Not every mother will be able to . I am not even taking into consideration the uncaring drug addict.
You see mothers milk has natural medicines , and many things good for the baby that cannot be reproduced. And yes I am talking about responsible , healthy in all ways , Mother , which most will be, with a few exceptions. I am not taking into consideration , the very poor , or disadvantaged and uneducated . I do not think there is any pediatrician that would choose any brand of formula over a healthy woman's mothers milk. I have not read anything on this subject since I was a pregnant woman wanting to do the best for my child. This I stand by and that is that any baby formula or food that we buy , for the most part , and again there are no matter what the subject , always exceptions, is a convience. Because a healthy mothers milk is going to be the best . and when the baby is going for jars , all a mother has to do is cook her own. Store bought is not a need. It is for sure a preference but that is because it is easier , than the natural ways. It is a simple case of to each their own . I believe in live and let live. Every Mother should be able to make her own choices. For her children , she is the one responsible , she is the one who chose to have her baby.

 

My neighbor WOULD NOT breast feed. Reason???? Breasts are sexual body parts and she can’t feed her kid from them. I almost slapped her.

 

There are a lot of medical reasons for formula and many women have issues. But one issue I see that infuriates me is just laziness. It’s way easier to toss formula in the cart next to the Doritos and Mt Dew than actually care for your child.

 

More woman choose to use formula than can’t breast feed. It’s mostly a problem we made for convenience.

 

A lot of our problems stem from convenience. And people are getting lazier by the day.
