Up to you. I've long since given up arguing more than a quick statement and restatement, to push the issue. Since I'm one of those that likes to learn by doing, I tend to be the guy that makes the mistake and then realizes the wisdom, but I don't ever remember cursing the person that suggested something, which is why I defer to OLDSKOOLERnWV's response. Mention it, see how it's percieved..and move on or if they're receptive, explain. Sometimes, just mentioning it, and moving on after makes the person curious because you didn't fight with them. Remember, sometimes the pig just likes wrestling in the mud...but if you make them curious why you didn't fight, they tend to open their mind just a little...to see what you might impart to them. My point is, try, but don't persist. That just aggravates you and makes enemies if the pig is just wallowing in the mud and wants you to join him.
