Well y’all, I have a question……
What do you think it would cost to have a towing company pull a class 8 truck from WV to Texas, and pull another class 8 from Texas right back to WV……?
About 1145 miles one direction.
Where is everyone #5

Towing company? I'm just going to guess here, and maybe I'm way too low, but $25k?
ETA: When I was truck shopping I checked for prices to drag stuff home in a 3-500 mile radius and got the impression that the guys I talked to preferred to stay local. For one way longer distances, RGN would have been the cheaper option.Last edited: May 16, 2022

LOL, just like in the Phillipines.
cke, MOBee and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
Well, here’s a small example, and I’m thinking you’re are not far off to be honest….
I had a problem on Monteagle mountain. Wrecker service wanted over $5000 just to take me to Jelico mountain on the KY side. That’s what a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive? -
Wish I was pulling my lowboy…. That Freightliner Coronado has that big tall sleeper is the problem….. -
Slow and steady
2 drives left to do. Not loading anything til tomorrow night anyways. I can almost guarantee the coop will be open in owego tomorrow night running out there to load with the blitz. Airbag was supposed to be in today but it wasn't, wasted a trip to Bing for nothing. Supposed to be in at 8am tomorrow.
Tug Toy, CAXPT, Swine hauler and 14 others Thank this. -
You know how mad I would be at myself for loosing 8.90 cents?

For what it's worth. When I wrecked my truck up at the quarry. They charged 1500 to tow it 135 miles to the body shop.and 6500 to winch it back up the side of the mountain.
