if you consider the rate to be calculated by the hour:
2290 miles at 57 MPH is 40 hours
2 hours hook and drop
42 hours total
WV commission rate for standard towing is $211.00 per hour.
$211.00 X 42 is $8862.00 plus 10% fsc as a nobody you know price.
if your buddy at Peterbilt is paying (warranty) then:
$100.00 per hour X 42 is $4200.00
add $2000.00 fuel seems fair.(2290X5.5mpg @$5.00 = $2080)
$6200.00 total
If it is a good friend 2.5 times fuel cost is a minimum I would charge
$2080 X 2.5 = 5200.00

 

Ive been lucky to get 5.0mpg with my modern X15

Based on what I was charged by a wrecker to do the 200 mile rounder to get my KW, I'd say around $10-15k?
