    I went from Hope to Ft Smith and back on the 2 lanes and for a change I didn't see even one DOT cop. Even the part between Norman and Glenwood where I always see a DOT. Not today. Must have called them somewhere else.

    Just for fun ask them why they’d give you a ticket for having a nap there. Makes me feel better knowing they’re out there creating roadside hazards in the name of highway safety.

    At 11:55 AM there were no less than 8 officers EB at the 9mm I 40. All lanes full, ramp full, and the graveled area full. Hwy 64 between Alma and Van Buren also hit hard.

    I don't travel your route too often, but glad I took off these last few days.

    I’ve been fortunate and only had one inspection in my short 3 year career. It helps to know the guy at the only weigh station you go near on my short daily journey
