Trucking in North America vs around the world

Looks better than norweigan version but still not my thing.

 

A much nicer Volvo seventy years ago. They really were real trucks. No power steering or other trim.

 

This some kind of crane belongs to truck?

Yes, it is an early HIAB (Hydrauliska Industri AB in Hudiksvall).

By the way, in 1949 I saw my very first crane on a Scania-Vabis truck loading timber. It was from the than competitor Foco. Later HIAB absorbed Foco.

 

What i know is that .........................it is a LOT off $$$$$$ or €€€€€€.
Not worth it for me.
I drive to earn money not to give it all away for a overpriced truck.

How much is a conversion like this?

 

Take the new price off the truck,which is very high now,and add 30 000 to 35 000€.(based on the price Vlastuin is asking for the Scania's)
