Nope, I've met you and seen you work. A guy I used to work with comes to mind. I had to put chalk marks on shop floor to see if he moved. You do just fine.

Slumlord companies. Was in Lodi OH one summer night, had 2 kids running team. The owner’s wife had the fuel ran so tight that the team couldn’t idle the truck and make their destination.

And for pay, they split $300 for the week.

A slumlord company will keep you so broke that you don’t ever have the money to get home if you abandon the truck.

About 5 hrs and 7 beers :D. Of course, a few less beer and smoke breaks would of sped up things a bit.

Brought her up to 6k rpm, no leaks from the valve covers, but I am gonna have to order new valve covers eventually. I do however get to make a trip after a new oil pan plugbin the a.m. Apparently some numb nuts, namely myself, over torqued it.

I'd like to take off the intake manifold and clean it out when I do my next project on it, but gotta find some direction on dealing with the fuel rail and all...

Steam the engine. Remove the rail still attached to the manifold. There is a special tool to remove the fuel line quick connector..
Gm spent many $$$ making the ls as simple as possible. That's why its so great
