Last week I started noticing what I thought was a steer tire vibration on my 80% hankook steer tires that are wearing perfectly and thought time to get them balanced.
But today before I got a balance done I was in my home shop for a lube it was discovered both front drive axle air bags were leaking and coming apart on the bottom of the bags at the saddle .
Rear bags were fine so put new front bags on and headed out intending to get the balance work done in a couple days on some down time .
First I noticed my truck rode better and about 100 miles later it dawned on me no more vibration even at 80 mph which isn't how fast I normally drive lol.
Can anyone explain this ?
Explain this please ...2013 cascadia vibrations.

Might just be the bags were hard and stiff and making it more bumpy.. Idk Just shooting in the dark here.

Could your ride height up front not have been to spec with the leak?

If so, that vibration you felt and tranny noises you heard were due to driveline angle.
And obviously, leaking air bags can affect that if severe.Coffey, D.Tibbitt, austinmike and 2 others Thank this. -
Just an advice.
Always drive 80 miles an hour.
You'll feel better.
Until you get a speeding ticket, of course.
Just having some innocent fun. LOL.
You are doing good.
Cheers. -

It damaged the transmission ball bearing after a while.
It was changed when I overhauled the transmission.
Not recommended for a long time.
Lesson learned,bzinger Thanks this.
