    The company im leased to decided to cut the wire coating right at the pigtail(Aftermarket lane guidance system).. I had just enough room to put a heat shrink connector on it. But the hood part i put heat shrink connector and wrap and loom around it.
    This is how the shop did the wire connection -.-

    I'm not talking about the wire connector.
    The whole harness should be protected.
    I just ordered from the factory all my harnesses to be protected.
    I'm very happy about it.
    It really paid off.

    Yeah it has some kinda cloth protector on it. Tends to rub also next one im running plastic loom on the whole thing.

    I have the pins and connectors because we have such an issue on the T880. I like to wrap the harness with a cloth harness tape I get from Summit racing and then wrap that with federal mogul nylogard fabric sleeve. You need a hot knife or titanium scissors to cut the stuff
