How do you cage this chamber?

As title says How do you cage this chamber?

It looks like it should be just tighten or loosen the nut that is attached but that didnt loosen the pads whatsoever (disc brakes) loosening it drew the threaded rod out about 1 inch

 

Thanks, Dern people reinventing the bloody wheel, that style is only on the rear axle, front spread has 18/24s that back off fine with the standard tbolt/nut. (Have a feeling imma replace the whole chambers on the back axle for this reason)

This full repair is beyond my pay-grade though, went to replace the pancake and turns out the problem is that the inner pad went mia... le sigh, heres hoping the pistons on the caliper arent too shot.

Wish i had seen it last tuesday/wed, had taken the week off to help my neighbor on his bathroom, this could have been getting fixed already, instead, 60 miles into my first trip of the week im down for while... least i was close and my mechanic is reasonably fast, not terribly busy and kinda on the cheaper side.

(Hes a good mechanic, he'd be slammed if he ever advertised or actually looked to get buisness, no interest, have a feeling im going to need to find a new one/become one soon though cause hes ready to retire)
