Sitting in Michigan, got my DOT physical for another year today. Now to get my TSA for the TWIC that expires this week, and the Hazmat endorsement for when I have to renew the license this year...and I'll be good for another year and I can get my butt back out here and get some current pictures.

 

Looks like I'll be buying a GPS soon. Second time this one's crashed out mid trip.

A Rand McNally I've had for about 4 years now. Switching to a Garmin

 

I still have my second Rand McNally, and the coating is getting rather gelatinous/sticky. My first one the screen got cracked, and I tried a TomTom Truck one, but it really didn't work 'logically' so I returned it and got the one that's going gooey. I don't like the magnetic mount ones that have come out since my first one, as a good bump always sends it sailing...I like the old slide on solid mounts...but unless I get an old gooey model, it's not happening. I've complained to the company about that magnetic mount too, to no avail. I've got a feeling I may be following you and going for the Garmin next. Plus, I've heard horror stories lately about the R&M lack of updates to maps and stuff, and this is stuff that was a problem over 4 years ago when I came off the road.
