YES, i had seen several videos on this, as well as one at my LGS........

i'd suggest to not ever paint it all black to make it look like a real gun.

but it'll give someone "some time" to shoot, and run away from the threat.

    You have a Utah permit?

You should, since it’s easy to get. That may or may not cover PA though. I haven’t checked lately. Also, I remember reading somewhere the the Filthadelphia metro area has its own set of rules they get to go by. @4mer trucker might be able to confirm that.

What was the drivers name that got his head bashed in because he was white in a black neighborhood in LA ?

if you’re not comfortable carrying a handgun , there are lots of other options
    Wasp spray
    Small fire extinguisher
    Collapsible baton
    Pocketknife

Tactical flashlight , everyone should have a super bright flashlight in their pocket at all times along with a good knife

all kinds of tasers and stun guns

Don’t most companies ban guns in the truck? If they find out you will be fired

Yeah, that's why it sucks to be a company driver. I was always told though whenever you leave your truck in the yard, you always take it with you (or if you have multiple guns)....that way your company will never find one when doing maintenance or decides to check your truck for whatever reason.

    Dennixx and JSanborn103 Thank this.

it is not a question of "being comfortable carrying a handgun"...i carry now..as i am long since retired.......so what's your point..??

if one is carrying a handgun in his/her truck, too many variables can occur. i spelled out quite a few.....

or did not NOT READ my posting about being charged with murder until it gets cleared up, with the help of that high dollar criminal lawyer..??

you do what you do, when i drove, i did what i did.

    good luck.

When delivering to a Military Base, you simply check the gun at the gate. They don’t ask for permits or anything. Get it back on the way out.

I agree. There are MANY, MANY variables. But also like @Broke_and_Hungry stated, "I would rather be judged by twelve, then carried by six" which is also a very good point.
