I kinda find it vague how CDL jobs require "one year of commercial driving experience", does it mean any job involving driving a commercial vehicle for commercial purposes or vehicles that require a CDL?
Does an Amazon driver count as "commercial driving experience"?

CDL = Commercial Drivers License. So no. An Amazon Van doesn't count. But an Amazon Semi truck does.

Some companies accept/recognize it and will put you through a refresher course to familiarize you with the company protocols and procedures. Some will assist you in upgrading from Class-B to Class-A.

It is commercial driving experience, but not CDL experience. As was said before.

I was a commercial bus driver for 20 years, with a Class B CDL, and that didn’t mean a thing to any trucking company I talked to after I upgraded to a Class A. I was still a rookie.
