only certain classes require the $5m liability (like1.x , 2, 7) and the more restrictive record keeping and training programs

    some only requires $1m

I have my Hazmat certificate and can haul the less restrictive classes

Can't you just put the insurance on for that load with your insurance company without having to carry it all the time? Just curious about that, kind of like load insurance per the load type? Curious how that works.

In Michigan tonight, applied for the TWIC renewal today and the Hazard Material Endorsement, so when I get it I can renew my driver's license, hopefully early so once I'm working I don't have to come back home to do it later. Getting closer to getting on the road again.... :)

Lots of em go in vans too, safe righto_O. For about a year that was one of my loads coming back out of jersey up to Rochester, then empties going back down. Masonry plasticizer. One of the best places I've ever been. Loaded in less than 20 minutes.

Even in totes I could feel the surge pretty good but most times they were only 80% full

The surge is what gets everyone, and not being aware of it is what freaks people out. :)

Also food grade products. Entire trailer full of totes that were full of extra virgin olive oil. (Out of LA.) Ended up going to New Jersey with a driver who was full of durum wheat, which is what they make pasta out of. He was surprised when I pulled in next to him on Monday.
