Nah, the problem accents are the folks from Maine. I spent a lot of time saying, "Pardon me, but could you repeat that please?"
Bee, who does not speak northern well.

 

This one is still used every year by my wife’s family. It belongs to her Dad but he won’t leave it anywhere but our house. He knows my appreciation for things of yesteryear….

 

Last time I was in Vermont in a semi, kept hearing a guy say potty store, couldn’t for the life of me understand what he was talking about. Come to find out he was saying party store, he wanted alcohol….

 

Kind of like huger. It looks like hew-ger, but it’s pronounced hew-gee.

 

I’m 150 miles south of the line. Around here folks put slaw on their hotdog. It’s a staple here actually….

I agree, I love a mayo based slaw on a lot of things. But you should always ask down here most make a vineger based slaw.
