Like all drivers say.....Not being bitter just telling the new guys coming in....... this is the trucking world. This is what can happen........after reading it. Can you deal with it? If you can....... proceed with caution. Luckily I have a clean driving record and clean CDL with no points or accidents. With all the new students Central turns out........ Central has hit everything but the lotto. If you make the step keep your CDL and MVR clean and maybe there will be life after Central. I still have a B.S. in business administration so maybe 2010 will be more kind on the job front. Just be aware guys....just be aware.

I don't have a problem believing you at all!!
That's Central for ya, but when you post something like this the Newbies seem to have a hard time believing Central could be that heartless.
I edited your post to make it easier on the older tired eyes to read.
Have you informed DAC that you didn't abandon your truck?????? More people need to do this so Central get a smack on the wrist for the BS they put on DAC reports. -
Appreciate the edits.....I have been trying to put up the good fight with the DAC report deal. But, to be honest i have been more pre-occupied with my unemployment insurance issues. Due to the fact that I am from MD and the home state for the co. is in UT they have been giving me the blues. So I got three fights going on right now. DAC, Unemployment Ins. and finding a new job. I would try to get back into OTR but with this DAC issue.....who knows. I have 8 months solo exp. no tickets, accidents or freight claims.. (besides overs.) Any recommedations would be welcome thanks guys. Just glad to have a forum to air my greviances. Sometimes that helps enough. Wish me luck and for all you guys and gals still rolling........be safe out there. Between the crazy four-wheelers,shippers and the infamous pre-loads that don't exist.... I know what your going through! Please guys never drive faster than your guardian angel flies.

I have a family member heading to Salt Lake in a week or so and I wanted to make a care package, maybe some food gift cards or some essentials to have for training? Would love some advice on what is needed.
Thanks in advance -
I was originally a Sonar Technician but expanded my duties well beyond that to other ummm things on dry and wet land.
On another note, I'd take the trade and $10, but I'd hate to take your whole paycheck like that. -
This is a terrible unfair story, you should contact a lawyer, especially a labor lawyer, you can go to the labor board regarding this, they can advise you, I would also go to Department of Transportation regarding this, That is how you can help all the truck drivers. I myself have done some studies and send results to DOT. I wish you the best. They say what goes around comes around. I believe in this saying.
