Somebody will hire you. It's just going to take a lot of foot work and phone calls. A lot of the smaller companies...construction, dump trucks, etc....don't use DAC.

DAC is goverened by the same laws as credit bureaus. You can dispute any entry. You have a right to AT LEAST one free copy per year, some states require more than one free copy. You are allowed to submit a statement about a negative entry that must be given to anyone requesting info on you through DAC/Hire Right.
For everyone else stop trusting your future to some hippy claiming their magic potion won't make you fail a drug test. The industry is unregulated and they can claim almost anything about any product, even if they know what they claim is false. They can sell CBD, Kratom, bath salts, cat urine, sawdust, anything and claim it grows hair, puts lead in your pencil, protects your car's finish, boosts your body's natural UFO protection. You are dealing with con men and their only obligation is the product cannot cause immediate death. Don't be a sucker.slopoke1013 and firemedic2816 Thank this. -
But, they still have to satisfy 391.23. This is why I said what I said in post #6. DAC just makes compliance with 391.23 easier. Also since the Clearinghouse is up and running DAC is really a non-issue with testing positives since it went online. I really have not found this process being easier because a carrier doesn't use DAC unless they have no regard for 391.23. Some do, and the FMCSA is going after them all the time because their records required by 391 are a mess.Last edited: Jun 1, 2022

Thanks for the company plugs. I tried Velocity Rail, but not the other two. I'll give them a shot as well as a few others. I just hope this mark won't continue to haunt me.
