Does Reohl hold orientations at any of their other terminals, or just in WI?
Also, see on their website that applicants need to have a passport or other cross border document when they go to orientation, and flatbed drivers need a TWIC card. Is this current info?
Did all you new Reohl drivers have these items?

I don't know anything about this Reohl you speak of.

Ok, how about Roehl, then?
Touch of dyslexia

You do need a passport for Canada...and the TWIC is being required more and more at ports etc.
Roehl does do orientation also at Gary. I would call recruiting to inquire if they do training at other terminals. -
They have held orientation in Ellenwood as well.mycorky Thanks this.

Alot of times when freight moves from WI to say New England, Canada is the shortest route so that's why you need a passport. But you could also be delivering to Canada too. Roehl pays $50 everytime you cross to and from countries. And as dumb as it sounds, you have to pay $5 to return to the USA, yes your own country! There's no freight that goes to Mexico, atleast with Roehl. AFAIK! And yes you need a TWIC card. Roehl will advance you money for the TWIC card if you can't afford it now, FYI.
Airborne Thanks this. -
From Buffalo to Chicago the mileage is about the same but there's the Thruway, Ohio Turnpike, and Indiana Toll Road. Those tolls export business to Canada.
I've unloaded in Laredo, Texas before. I think I know where that freight was going...
