yes millis uses the prepass plus that does the scales and tolls in one transponder unless you are one of the southeast regional trucks or dedicated and they just have the pre pass for the scales.

My husband drives southeast regional and have NEVER had anyone look at his paperwork. Of course he always has it in order but he has never been asked to see it.
mceheel Thanks this. -
How does Millis do their training? Is it run like a team truck, or is trainer in rightside seat?

Recieved an email of promissory notes and what to bring. Just a few questions. Is their any pre-trip questions on the CDL? Do I need to
study that section now or just learn it through school? If you chose
to go home after class and not use the hotel does Millis deduct the
cost of the hotel from the overall cost? How many of the fifty states
did any of you current drivers hit? Those are some pretty large
tractors I see from Millis are those the T2000s? (just curious) -
most of the trucks are t2000s but we also have about a 120 t600s and about 70 t660s plus the freightliner columbias they use for dedicated and regional trucks in the south east. as far as states go you will stay east of the mississippi river for the most part but we do run to texas quite a bit and have a few california runs also.

i started with millis years ago not with them any more but was a good company to start with you have made the right choice good luck and speed safely
-
Lets just say its a unwritten rule to not really match your log book to what you actually do... Just make sure you get the load there.. Talking about safety and acually being a safe company are 2 way different things
-
This is to anyone that already had their cdl's and already had a pre-trip that they learned from another school. Does MILLIS want you to learn their pre-trip or what you already learned from the other school??? I live in NC will I have to learn the pre-trip that is in the NC book??? Someone ring in.
