Physical abilities test in orientation?

Yes they do. As part of your physical, you will perform a test that simulates the pulling of the kingpin release handle. You will lift, I think 70 pounds to shoulder level and place it on a shelf. You will simulate getting into and out of the truck close to 30 times. The kicker is lifting from the floor, I think 30 pounds and walking like 10 feet, turn around walk back and safely lower the weight to ground level, pick it up again and repeat the process, if I recall correctly 6 times.

I've done this test numerous times when hired out of Phoenix. As always, your experience may be different!

 

I think they also check your heart rate at the beginning and end of the test session.
