Try to find your area and stay in it as long as possible.
I like to run Midwest.
When I go home I get a great price headed back to New England but garbage coming back out.
Try to keep trips back to a minimum.
Haven’t been out long and already need to head back.
Need to do the paperwork for new plates and cab card. Which won’t be delivered until mid July.
Tractor going in for service and inspection.
So rather then come back to get the plates I’ll just have my father overnight them to me.
Also noticed lately the shorter runs are paying the best. 500mi and under.
Gets a little old though. I prefer to change up where I’m at but if the moneys good I’ll stick around an area.
