Looking for a breakdown of Sysco’s pay structure, route bidding, etc.. Between cases unloaded, stop pay, etc.,etc., I wasn’t sure exactly how stable/accurate the estimated salary is. Is pay affected pretty heavily by seniority too or is the benefit of seniority just route times, total cases, etc.?
Have been over the road for a year and a half now, but ready to slow down. Looked at regional companies, but didn’t pique any interest since it’s half the adventure for only slightly more hometime.
Sent an application over to Sysco and was offered an interview. Physically in shape and young (22 years old), so food service isn’t a no-go for me. Have always heard food service workers talk about how good the pay is and that it’s a pretty good work/life balance relative to the industry in general. Located in Western KY, so there’s really nothing paying comparable to their estimates for home daily besides LTL linehaul positions that pop up occasionally
Curious of a breakdown of Sysco pay structure/routes
